Former President Bill Clinton proved to us through his "talk" at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte last night that he's still got it.
There's something about "plain talk" that we can understand. Clinton was able to shoot from the hip, something President Obama can't always do in his role as Commander in Chief.
But Bill Clinton, with his smooth style, broke it down by first giving a little credit to his predecessors in the Republican party before he came in for the "rope-a-dope" and knocked it out of the ring.
I especially loved the part where he talked about "Lyin' Ryan" having "brass."
Clinton took command and spoke from his heart, breaking from script and doubling his alloted time to speak. And we didn't mind at all. In fact, it felt like we were in church.
And the coup de gras - our Commander in Chief, cool as he wants to be, walking onstage in a warm embrace with "The Bill."

Now that's what you call "two cool cats taking care of business." That would be a Democratic ticket that could take an election to a whole new level!!! There was so much intellect, plain telling the truth (or as my late father would say 'he told it like it "T. I. S."' and swagger in that room!!! I loved the part when Former President Clinton and President Obama embraced, smiling, on one accord, as it can only be done in the Good Ole U.S.A.!!!
