A New Twist On "Soul Food"
Had lunch at Kokkari in San Francisco today and just had to try an item on the menu called "Pikti." It's offered as an appetizer and the description reads:
Pikti - terrine of Berkshire pig trotters & head with toast, cucumber & black olives
Sounds a lot like a fancy version of hog head cheese and crackers to me ;0

How did it taste? Was it "hog headcheese tasting? Was it spicy, hot or bland?
